Team Rules

We swim for fun, we swim our best, we swim as a team!

  1. Be kind, show respect and be a great team-mate!
  2. Support each other, be patient and show grace.
  3. Turn up and turn out! ...and smile (it will make you swim faster)
  4. Swimmers must declare their intention to swim the week prior to every meet. This is a commitment to swim.
  5. If your swimmer is declared to swim in the meet, a parent is required to volunteer for that meet.
  6. During meets, swimmers must be in their bull-pen and make themselves known to the volunteer for that bull-pen.
  7. All swimmers 5 and up must be able to swim a length of the pool unaided and/or be able to get themselves to the side of the pool/lane lines.
  8. The Junior Orca program is designed for children who are 3-4 years of age, are water confident AND fully potty-trained. Parents MUST be poolside while their Jr. Orca is training.
  9. Parents are responsible for their child's safety. Parents of all swimmers under the age of 12 are to remain poolside during practice.
